The Venezuelan ´70 - ´72 Chevelle Malibu, originally had the following specs:
ENGINE: General Motors 307 cid V8. 8,5:1 compresion rate. 200HP @ 4600 RPM. 300 lb/ft @ 2400 RPM. Bore: 3 7/8". Stroke: 3.25".
INTAKE: Two barrel Rochester Dual Jet (2GV, No. 7041110) carburetor.
IGNITION: Breaker point, ignition coil and distributor (PN1112039) system. DWELL: 29º - 31º. Gap: .016" used/ .019" new. Advance: 8º @ 550 RPM BTDC. SPARK PLUGS: ACR45TS. FIRING ORDER: 18436572
FUEL: Leaded gas.
LUBRICATION SYSTEM: Forced lubrication by mechanical oil pump. SAE 15W-40 oil.
REFRIGERATION SYSTEM: Water. The radiator was made by FRAPCA, Maracay, Estado Aragua, Venezuela. Commonly, engine coolant wasn´t used at that time in our country.
CAPACITIES WATER / OIL / FUEL: 16lts. /4 quarters / 72 lts.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: 12 V DC. Delco Remy 14 V and 25amp @ 2000RPM / 35 amp 25000 RPM alternator.
TRANSMISION: 3 speed (1, 2, D) GM Turbo Hydramatic.
WHEELBASE: 112" (Coupe) / 116" (Sedan and Station Wagon)
TREAD - FRONT: 60".
TREAD - REAR: 59,9".
SUSPENSION FRONT / REAR: Independent with 2 control arms (Upper and lower) each side, coil springs and telescopic struts / Rigid axle with 4 control arms (2 lowers and 2 uppers), coil springs and telescopic struts.
BRAKES FRONT / REAR: DRUMS / DRUMS, except 1972: DISCS / DRUMS.
TIRES / WHEELS: E78/14 White tread / 14 x 5 inch. steel rims

ACCESSORIES (Only 2 door ht): Central Console with Floor Shifter (RPO D55). Bucket Seats (RPO A51), without Headrests (They weren´t mandatory in Venezuela until years later).
VIN: Vehicle Identification Number: Placed at dash/windshield base leftside and under hood´s driver rear corner. It has seven (7) digits:

926-6276: (PNT: Paint) Differs from USA paint codes. No enough information yet. This particular code was from an orange a little bit darker than hugger orange, but still lighter than sand.
